In most cases you can use any IPTV box or android TV box/device regardless on the device IPTV can work but some devices are better then others, to have a good experience its important to use a good quality IPTV box /device.

We have narrow it down to the 3 top IPTV boxes.

Dreamlink and Formuler are essentially the same company with different brand/product names for their IPTV box line-up. 

The Dreamlink T2 IPTV box, on the other hand, is essentially an upgraded, albeit more expensive, version of the T1. 

While it is still very compact, it is indeed capable of both HDR and 4K. It also has the wonderful Android 7 Nougat OS which gives it an incredible UI and swiftness in menus, that's why it get the number 1 spot.

This Android IPTV box is very feature-rich and will satisfy the pickiest of IPTV user.

• Must be plug in directly to the internet by Ethernet Cable for best possible experience.  WIFI (wireless) connect requirements, we recommend at least 50Mbps (check your internet speed from your PC or Phone Click on Run Test)

If you’re looking for an affordable option with excellent streaming capabilities, then the Amazon Fire TV Stick is a good choice. 

If you absolutely need a WIFI connection , you need a fire stick hands down the best WIFI system on the market right now.

But its a give and take relationship meaning you will lose a few feature with a fire stick but gain WIFI power.

since you are using a fire stick and this is not a real IPTV device , you will be required to use an app to run the signal.

What kind of features will you lose may you ask ?

You will lose features like : recording , searching , wont have a regular TV remote control ,

if you don't need all that then fire stick is the only way to go. 

( not recommended for seniors or not tech savvy people).

Fire stick for IPTV :

Pros: 

• Powerful WIFI, good for long range in case router or modem is far
• Excellent connection for IPTV
• Small and Portable

Cons:

• No favorite List Feature
• Cant Search For Movies or TV Shows
• No regular remote control
• No recording

Here is some examples of an android tv device not to use, if you already have one of these devices you can still start with them but make sure to upgrade in the long run.

Any unknown brand you should avoid, they will work but will cause issues in the long run.

4. MAG (Real IPTV Box) some MAG boxes don't have a updated codec and cant play some media players
5. EASYTONE Q Plus

All these android tv boxes will work in the short term but in the long term they will fail.

There's no real reason for these devices to fail except that they are not built very well.

Its random, it can work perfectly for days/months and then suddenly stop working correctly.

They all have similar problems:

You will experience lagging , can't connect , internet issues , remote not responding and more unimaginable situations.

If you are experiencing issues like these, know that you need to upgrade your tv box for a better IPTV experience. 

Lets start with smart TV's ,  

From the start, Smart TV seems, by far, to be the better choice. It gets rid of the problem of finding a spot for a different IPTV set top box and connecting it to a TV set, plus connecting to the internet is pretty simple ,in this way being simpler to set up and more convenient. 

Problem comes in when you find out your tv is capped at a certain speed, that means even if you have 300Mbps download speed , your tv can only handle between 60-100Mbps.

Making your tv pretty slow for IPTV specially when connect to your internet network by WIFI, but wait it gets worse , these days you can hardwire new tv to the internet by ethernet cable but even hardwiring it your tv will still be capped , it will provide a more stable connection but you will not have your full speed you are paying for 

On the other hand using a good quality IPTV box , it will improve your connection speed since tv boxes are not capped, plus you will be able to download the latest updates to your box including the 4K capability to match your tv.
